What sslcertificates.io can do
Azure DNS uses a service principal, lists subscriptions and zones, creates a TXT record set or merges into an existing one, reads it back, polls public DNS, then restores the previous record-set contents without deleting unrelated values. Capabilities: discover_subscriptions, discover_zones, create_txt, read_txt, delete_owned. Authentication uses service_principal.
Required permissions
DNS Zone Contributor on selected zones, plus ability to list subscriptions. Client secret or federated credentials.
Setup
Open Dashboard → Integrations → Azure DNS. Enter the credentials described on this page. Values are encrypted at rest and never shown again. Run Test connection. Discovery runs only after authentication succeeds. Select a discovered resource. Do not paste opaque IDs unless the provider cannot enumerate them. Perform the certificate or notification action, then confirm the external system matches. Disconnect removes stored credentials and owned test resources created by sslcertificates.io.
Known limitations
Record sets that contain other TXT values are merged; only the challenge string added by sslcertificates.io is removed.
