What sslcertificates.io can do

Namecheap DNS DNS-01 follows the shared DNS contract: authenticate, list zones, create a TXT, read it back, poll public DNS, delete only the owned record, verify removal and audit the operation. getHosts/setHosts replace the entire host set. The connector reads, merges the challenge, writes, re-reads and restores unrelated hosts. Capabilities: discover_zones, create_txt, read_txt, delete_owned. Authentication uses api_user.

Required permissions

API user, key and client IP allow-list. Sandbox is api.sandbox.namecheap.com.

Setup

Open Dashboard → Integrations → Namecheap DNS. Enter the credentials described on this page. Values are encrypted at rest and never shown again. Run Test connection. Discovery runs only after authentication succeeds. Select a discovered resource. Do not paste opaque IDs unless the provider cannot enumerate them. Perform the certificate or notification action, then confirm the external system matches. Disconnect removes stored credentials and owned test resources created by sslcertificates.io.
