Amazon Route 53
Route 53 DNS-01 uses SigV4. The connector lists hosted zones, picks the best match, submits ChangeResourceRecordSets, polls GetChange until INSYNC, reads the RRSet back, waits for public DNS, then removes only the owned TXT value.
Verification: test_verified. Connection: unknown. Credentials: none. Live E2E: no.
AWS IAM credentials or assumable role with Route 53 on a disposable hosted zone are not configured.

Capabilities: discover_zones, upsert_txt, get_change, read_rrset, delete_owned. Authentication uses iam_role.
Required permissions
route53:ListHostedZones, ChangeResourceRecordSets, GetChange, ListResourceRecordSets. Prefer a dedicated hosted zone for tests.
Setup
Open Dashboard → Integrations → Amazon Route 53. Enter the credentials described on this page. Values are encrypted at rest and never shown again. Run Test connection. Discovery runs only after authentication succeeds. Select a discovered resource. Do not paste opaque IDs unless the provider cannot enumerate them. Perform the certificate or notification action, then confirm the external system matches. Disconnect removes stored credentials and owned test resources created by sslcertificates.io.
Known limitations
Alias records and traffic policies are never modified. Changes are UPSERT/DELETE of the exact TXT value we created.
