What sslcertificates.io can do

Smallstep step-ca is implemented as an ACME private CA with optional EAB provisioners. The connector registers, issues, renews, revokes and can list provisioners when an admin token exists. Fingerprints of the private root are stored for TLS verification of internal endpoints. Capabilities: acme, provisioners, issue, renew, revoke, private_ca. Authentication uses acme_eab.

Required permissions

ACME provisioner on step-ca, optionally with EAB. Admin API is used only when a management token is stored.

Setup

Open Dashboard → Integrations → Smallstep step-ca. Enter the credentials described on this page. Values are encrypted at rest and never shown again. Run Test connection. Discovery runs only after authentication succeeds. Select a discovered resource. Do not paste opaque IDs unless the provider cannot enumerate them. Perform the certificate or notification action, then confirm the external system matches. Disconnect removes stored credentials and owned test resources created by sslcertificates.io.

Known limitations

step-ca must be reachable from the platform. Public trust is not claimed for private roots.
